2021: Opportunus’ Year in Review

In speaking about the last business year, I must do my best not to mention the obvious! (done it already – it’s impossible hey?!).


There are a number of things we’re proud to celebrate; we have doubled our headcount, welcoming colleagues not just from world class creative businesses in London and Australia, but also and importantly from client side, The HUT Group and BASF to name two. We have expanded our offering to great success, enhancing our services to digital marketing and development. With all this we naturally needed a ‘bigger boat’ so we have doubled our office space and invested in our environment and tech infrastructure.


The international reputation that we are humbled to enjoy, has been to date purely through strong referrals and recommendations from our client partners. Yet determined to grow our network and continue to attract best-in-class talent, we have begun our own marketing drive. Key investments in this have been the comprehensive update of our website and the launch of our Partner Programme. We practice what we preach and are quickly seeing results with the onboarding of several new and exciting client partnerships.

We were already pretty well practised at managing remote client relationships all over the globe, but welcoming the mass majority of the team whilst navigating working from home was a challenge. Testament to the strong and determined culture, our new starters quickly feel part of the team whilst working remotely.

Looking to next year, we have earmarked a number of exciting new talent to join the team. We are also excited to continue growing the reach of our brand and also the development of our proprietary technologies, devised to further enhance the performance of our client partners’ businesses. Moreover we hope for a healthier and safer 2022 for us all, where we can continue taking our client partner’s businesses to the next level.
