Building the foundations for a global landmark

The Shard

The Estate Management Team for Shard Quarter approached us after first meeting in a social context. Chosen ahead of London’s property development-focused agencies, our focus and honour was to bring a fresh and innovative perspective. The team appreciated our fresh approach and focus on how the creative process can add tangible value to businesses.

“I would recommend Opportunus based on their ability to very quickly, fully understand our requirements, interpret our needs and recommended an effective solution. They are easy to work with and we’re very compatible in our standards of service. Any business requires good, long lasting relationships and we have one of those with Opportunus!”

Danny Lemon

General Manager

Two years before the completion of The Shard, the management team challenged us to develop their service proposition and tone of voice to the complex range of stakeholders of the development.

Working strategically to establish an effective positioning and tone of voice for the proposition, we focused upon not just the service capabilities but, moreover and crucially, the experience this enables amongst the development’s audiences. From high-net-worth apartment owners and multinational business tenants to service suppliers and the local community, the brand’s voice

had to articulate and engage in a variety of relevant ways yet resolve in a steadfast ethos of the highest levels of service.

From brand consultancy to innovative design executions and navigation systems to improving induction processes, our involvement is diverse and influences the operational strategy and delivery across all stakeholder groups to establish the foundations for them to realise the unique opportunity The Shard presents in reshaping the identity of London through its globally recognised landmark status.
